1. And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.
Gen 18.1And the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; ;
Gen 16.7-14And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. ;
Gen 26.6And Isaac dwelt in Gerar: ;
2. And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She is my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.
Gen 12.13Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. ;
Gen 26.7And the men of the place asked him of his wife; and he said, She is my sister: for he feared to say, She is my wife; lest, said he, the men of the place should kill me for Rebekah; because she was fair to look upon. ;
Gen 12.15The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house. ;
3. But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife.

Gen 20.7Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine. ;
4. But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, LORD, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?
Gen 18.23And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked? ;
Gen 20.18For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife. ;
5. Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this.

6. And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

8. Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore afraid.
9. Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.
Gen 26.10And Abimelech said, What is this thou hast done unto us? one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest have brought guiltiness upon us. ;
Ex 32.21And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? ;
Ios 7.25And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones. ;
Gen 34.7And the sons of Jacob came out of the field when they heard it: and the men were grieved, and they were very wroth, because he had wrought folly in Israel in lying with Jacob's daughter: which thing ought not to be done. ;
10. And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?
