11. And as since the time that I commanded judges to be over my people Israel, and have caused thee to rest from all thine enemies. Also the LORD telleth thee that he will make thee an house.
Jud 2.14-16And the anger of the LORD was hot against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies. ;
1Sam 12.9-11And when they forgat the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them. ;
Ps 106.42Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand. ;
2Sam 7.1And it came to pass, when the king sat in his house, and the LORD had given him rest round about from all his enemies; ;
Ex 1.21And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses. ;
2Sam 7.27For thou, O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, hast revealed to thy servant, saying, I will build thee an house: therefore hath thy servant found in his heart to pray this prayer unto thee. ;
1Imp 11.38And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee. ;
SMS 12. And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.
1Imp 2.1Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying, ;
Deut 31.16And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy fathers; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. ;
1Imp 1.21Otherwise it shall come to pass, when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon shall be counted offenders. ;
Fapt 13.36For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption: ;
1Imp 8.20And the LORD hath performed his word that he spake, and I am risen up in the room of David my father, and sit on the throne of Israel, as the LORD promised, and have built an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel. ;
Ps 132.11The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. ;
SMS 13. He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever.
1Imp 5.5And, behold, I purpose to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God, as the LORD spake unto David my father, saying, Thy son, whom I will set upon thy throne in thy room, he shall build an house unto my name. ;
1Imp 6.12Concerning this house which thou art in building, if thou wilt walk in my statutes, and execute my judgments, and keep all my commandments to walk in them; then will I perform my word with thee, which I spake unto David thy father: ;
1Imp 8.19Nevertheless thou shalt not build the house; but thy son that shall come forth out of thy loins, he shall build the house unto my name. ;
1Cron 22.10He shall build an house for my name; and he shall be my son, and I will be his father; and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel for ever. ;
1Cron 28.6And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father. ;
2Sam 7.16And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever. ;
Ps 89.4-37Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations. Selah. ;
SMS 14. I will be his father, and he shall be my son. If he commit iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men:
Ps 89.26-27He shall cry unto me, Thou art my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation. ;
Evr 1.5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? ;
Ps 89.30-33If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments; ;
SMS 15. But my mercy shall not depart away from him, as I took it from Saul, whom I put away before thee.
1Sam 15.23-28For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king. ;
1Sam 16.14But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him. ;
1Imp 11.13Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen. ;
SMS 16. And thine house and thy kingdom shall be established for ever before thee: thy throne shall be established for ever.
2Sam 7.13He shall build an house for my name, and I will stablish the throne of his kingdom for ever. ;
Ps 89.36-37His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. ;
Ioan 12.34The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man? ;
SMS 17. According to all these words, and according to all this vision, so did Nathan speak unto David.
SMS 18. Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that thou hast brought me hitherto?
Gen 32.10I am not worthy of the least of all the mercies, and of all the truth, which thou hast showed unto thy servant; for with my staff I passed over this Jordan; and now I am become two bands. ;
SMS 19. And this was yet a small thing in thy sight, O Lord GOD; but thou hast spoken also of thy servant's house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD?
2Sam 7.12-13And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom. ;
Isa 55.8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. ;
SMS 20. And what can David say more unto thee? for thou, Lord GOD, knowest thy servant.
Gen 18.19For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. ;
Ps 139.1O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. ;
