Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month Adar, on the thirteenth day of the same, when the king's commandment and his decree drew near to be put in execution, in the day that the enemies of the Jews hoped to have power over them, (though it was turned to the contrary, that the Jews had rule over them that hated them;)
Est 8.12
Upon one day in all the provinces of king Ahasuerus, namely, upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar. ;Est 3.13
And the letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey. ;2Sam 22.41
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me. ;

He shall neither have son nor nephew among his people, nor any remaining in his dwellings. ;Iov 27.13-15
This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. ;Ps 21.10
Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men. ;Est 8.11
