1. Unto thee lift I up mine eyes, O thou that dwellest in the heavens.
Ps 121.1
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. ;Ps 141.8
But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute. ;Ps 2.4
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. ;Ps 11.4
The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men. ;Ps 115.3
But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. ;

2. Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

3. Have mercy upon us, O LORD, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt.

4. Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorning of those that are at ease, and with the contempt of the proud.
