1. Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
Ps 103.1Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. ;
2. While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
Ps 104.33I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. ;
3. Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Ps 118.8-9It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. ;
Isa 2.22Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ? ;
4. His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
Ps 104.29Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. ;
Ecl 12.7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. ;

6. Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:

7. Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
Ps 103.6The LORD executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed. ;
Ps 107.9For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. ;
Ps 68.6God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. ;

8. The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

Ps 145.14The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down. ;
Ps 147.6The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground. ;
Luc 13.13And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God. ;
9. The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
Deut 10.18He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment. ;
Ps 68.5A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. ;
Ps 147.6The LORD lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground. ;
10. The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
Ex 15.18The LORD shall reign for ever and ever. ;
Ps 10.16The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. ;
Ps 145.13Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. ;
Apoc 11.15And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. ;
