1. Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Ps 46.6The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. ;
Fapt 4.25-26Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things? ;
2. The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
Ps 45.7Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. ;
Ioan 1.41He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ. ;
3. Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

5. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
6. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

7. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Fapt 13.33God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee. ;
Evr 1.5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? ;
Evr 5.5So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee. ;
8. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Ps 22.27All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. ;
Ps 72.8He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth. ;
Ps 89.27Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth. ;
Dan 7.13-14I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. ;
Ioan 17.4-5I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. ;

9. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
Ps 89.23And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. ;
Apoc 2.27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. ;
Apoc 12.5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. ;
10. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
