1. The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
Rom 3.18There is no fear of God before their eyes. ;
2. For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
Deut 29.19And it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the imagination of mine heart, to add drunkenness to thirst: ;
Ps 10.3For the wicked boasteth of his heart's desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth. ;

3. The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
Ps 12.2They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. ;

4. He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.

Mica 2.1Woe to them that devise iniquity, and work evil upon their beds! when the morning is light, they practise it, because it is in the power of their hand. ;

5. Thy mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

6. Thy righteousness is like the great mountains; thy judgments are a great deep: O LORD, thou preservest man and beast.

Ps 77.19Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known. ;

7. How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.

Ps 94.15But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it. ;
