1. O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens.
Ps 148.13
Let them praise the name of the LORD: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. ;Ps 113.4
The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens. ;

2. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Mat 11.25
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. ;Mat 21.16
And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? ;1Cor 1.27

3. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

4. What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
Iov 7.17
What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him? ;Ps 144.3
LORD, what is man, that thou takest knowledge of him! or the son of man, that thou makest account of him! ;Evr 2.6
But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him? ;

5. For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.

6. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:
Gen 1.26-28
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. ;1Cor 15.27
For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. ;Evr 2.8
Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. ;

7. All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;

8. The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

9. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!
