1. Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
2. Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that trusteth in thee.
Isa 26.3Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. ;
3. Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.
Ps 56.1Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresseth me. ;
Ps 57.1Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. ;
4. Rejoice the soul of thy servant: for unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.
Ps 25.1Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. ;
Ps 143.8Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. ;
5. For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Ps 86.15But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. ;
Ps 130.7Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption. ;
Ps 145.9The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. ;

7. In the day of my trouble I will call upon thee: for thou wilt answer me.
Ps 50.15And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. ;
8. Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works.
Ex 15.11Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? ;
Ps 89.6For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD? ;

9. All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
