11. A just weight and balance are the LORD's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
Lev 19.36
Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt. ;Prov 11.1
A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight. ;
12. It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness.
Prov 25.5
Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness. ;Prov 29.14
The king that faithfully judgeth the poor, his throne shall be established for ever. ;
13. Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
Prov 14.35
The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame. ;Prov 22.11
He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend. ;
14. The wrath of a king is as messengers of death: but a wise man will pacify it.
Prov 19.12
The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass. ;Prov 20.2
The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul. ;
15. In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain.
Prov 19.12
The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass. ;Iov 29.23
And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain. ;Zah 10.1
Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. ;
16. How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
Prov 8.11-19
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it. ;
17. The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.
18. Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
Prov 11.2
When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. ;Prov 17.19
He loveth transgression that loveth strife: and he that exalteth his gate seeketh destruction. ;Prov 18.12
Before destruction the heart of man is haughty, and before honour is humility. ;
19. Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.
20. He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.
Ps 2.12
Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him. ;Ps 34.8
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. ;Ps 125.1
They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. ;Isa 30.18
And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. ;Ier 17.7
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. ;
