11. When the scorner is punished, the simple is made wise: and when the wise is instructed, he receiveth knowledge.
Prov 19.25
Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge. ;

12. The righteous man wisely considereth the house of the wicked: but God overthroweth the wicked for their wickedness.

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. ;Mat 18.30
And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. ;Iac 2.13
For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. ;

13. Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

14. A gift in secret pacifieth anger: and a reward in the bosom strong wrath.
Prov 17.8-23
A gift is as a precious stone in the eyes of him that hath it: whithersoever it turneth, it prospereth. ;Prov 18.16
A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. ;

15. It is joy to the just to do judgment: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.
Prov 10.29
The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. ;

16. The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.

17. He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

18. The wicked shall be a ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for the upright.
Prov 11.8
The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead. ;Isa 43.3-4
For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. ;

19. It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and an angry woman.
Prov 21.9
It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house. ;

20. There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.
Ps 112.3
Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever. ;Mat 25.3-4
