1. Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.
Isa 32.20
Blessed are ye that sow beside all waters, that send forth thither the feet of the ox and the ass. ;Deut 15.10
Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. ;Prov 19.17
He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. ;Mat 10.42
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. ;2Cor 9.8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: ;Gal 6.9-10
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. ;Evr 6.10
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. ;

2. Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour. ;Luc 6.30
Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. ;1Tim 6.18-19
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; ;Mic 5.5
And this man shall be the peace, when the Assyrian shall come into our land: and when he shall tread in our palaces, then shall we raise against him seven shepherds, and eight principal men. ;Efes 5.16
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. ;

3. If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.

4. He that observeth the wind shall not sow; and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap.

5. As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.
Ioan 3.8
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. ;Ps 139.14-15
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. ;

6. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good.

7. Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing it is for the eyes to behold the sun:
Ecl 7.11
Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun. ;

8. But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.

9. Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.
Num 15.39
And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: ;Ecl 12.14
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. ;Rom 2.6-11
Who will render to every man according to his deeds: ;

10. Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.
2Cor 7.1
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. ;2Tim 2.22
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. ;Ps 39.5
Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah. ;
