31. For the LORD will not cast off for ever:

For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. ;

32. But though he cause grief, yet will he have compassion according to the multitude of his mercies.

33. For he doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.
Ezec 33.11
Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel? ;Evr 12.13
And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. ;

34. To crush under his feet all the prisoners of the earth.

35. To turn aside the right of a man before the face of the most High,

36. To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approveth not.

Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he? ;

37. Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?

38. Out of the mouth of the most High proceedeth not evil and good?

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. ;Amos 3.6
Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? ;

39. Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
Prov 19.3
The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD. ;Mic 7.9
I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness. ;

40. Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.
