11. Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.
Deut 28.33
The fruit of thy land, and all thy labors, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway: ;1Imp 12.28
Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. ;Mic 6.16
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people. ;SMS

12. Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.
Prov 12.4
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones. ;SMS

13. When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.
Ier 30.12
For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. ;2Imp 15.19
And Pul the king of Assyria came against the land: and Menahem gave Pul a thousand talents of silver, that his hand might be with him to confirm the kingdom in his hand. ;Osea 7.11

It shall be also carried unto Assyria for a present to king Jareb: Ephraim shall receive shame, and Israel shall be ashamed of his own counsel. ;SMS

14. For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.
