41. While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

And Jesus answered and said, while he taught in the temple, How say the scribes that Christ is the son of David? ;Luc 20.41
And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David's son? ;

42. Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.

43. He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,

44. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Ps 110.1
The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. ;Fapt 2.34
For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, ;1Cor 15.25
For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. ;Evr 1.13
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? ;Evr 10.12-13
But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; ;

45. If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

46. And no man was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.
