31. It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
Deut 24.11
Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee. ;Ier 3.1
They say, If a man put away his wife, and she go from him, and become another man's, shall he return unto her again? shall not that land be greatly polluted? but thou hast played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, saith the LORD. ;Mat 19.3
The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? ;Marc 10.2

32. But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

33. Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. ;Lev 19.12
And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. ;Num 30.2
If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth. ;Deut 5.11
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. ;Deut 23.23
That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the LORD thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth. ;SMS

34. But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:

36. Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.

39. But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. ;1Cor 6.7

40. And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
