1. And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.
Mat 13.54And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? ;
Luc 4.16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. ;
2. And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?
Ioan 6.42And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven? ;
3. Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Mat 12.46While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him. ;

4. But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
Mat 13.57And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. ;
Ioan 4.44For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honour in his own country. ;
5. And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

6. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.
Mat 9.35And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. ;
Luc 13,22For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. ;
7. And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;
Mat 10.1And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. ;

8. And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:
9. But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.
Fapt 12.8And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. ;
10. And he said unto them, In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.
Mat 10.11And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. ;
Luc 9.4And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart. ;
Luc 10.7-8And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. ;
