1. Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. ;Marc 16.1
And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him. ;Ioan 20.1
The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre. ;Luca 23.56
And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment. ;SMS

2. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.

And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. ;Marc 16.4
And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great. ;SMS

3. And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted. ;Luca 24.23
And when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, which said that he was alive. ;SMS

4. And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. ;Fapt 1.10
And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; ;SMS

5. And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

6. He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee,

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. ;Mat 17.23
And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry. ;Marc 8.31
And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. ;Marc 9.31
For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day. ;Luca 9.22
Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day. ;SMS

7. Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

8. And they remembered his words,

9. And returned from the sepulchre, and told all these things unto the eleven, and to all the rest.

10. It was Mary Magdalene and Joanna, and Mary the mother of James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto the apostles.

And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance. ;SMS
