21. For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
Fapt 13.15-27And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. ;
SMS 22. Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
SMS 23. And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia.
SMS 24. Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
Fapt 15.1And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved. ;
Gal 2.4And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: ;
Gal 5.12I would they were even cut off which trouble you. ;
Tit 1.10-11For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: ;
SMS 25. It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
SMS 26. Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Fapt 13.50But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. ;
Fapt 14.19And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead. ;
1Cor 15.30And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? ;
2Cor 11.23-26Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths oft. ;
SMS 27. We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.
SMS 28. For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
SMS 29. That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Fapt 15.20But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood. ;
Fapt 21.25As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication. ;
Apoc 2.14-20But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. ;
Lev 17.14For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off. ;
SMS 30. So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:
