31. Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.
Fapt 8.1And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. ;
32. And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
Fapt 8.14Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John: ;
33. And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
34. And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ maketh thee whole: arise, and make thy bed. And he arose immediately.
Fapt 3.6-16Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. ;
Fapt 4.10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. ;
35. And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
1Cron 5.16And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in her towns, and in all the suburbs of Sharon, upon their borders. ;

36. Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and almsdeeds which she did.
1Tim 2.10But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works. ;
Tit 3.8This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. ;
37. And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
Fapt 1.13And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. ;
38. And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.
39. Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and shewing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
40. But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
Mat 9.25But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose. ;
