11. I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

12. Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

13. For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:

Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. ;2Tim 1.11
Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles. ;

14. If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
1Cor 7.16
For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife? ;1Cor 9.22
To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. ;1Tim 4.16

15. For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

16. For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.

18. Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. ;

19. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.

20. Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:

Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into mischief. ;Isa 66.2

Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. ;
