12. Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. ;Rom 5.2
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. ;Rom 15.13

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. ;1Pet 2.19-20
For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. ;Luc 18.1
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; ;Fapt 2.42
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. ;Fapt 12.5
Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him. ;Efes 6.18

13. Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
1Cor 16.1
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. ;2Cor 9.1-12
For as touching the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you: ;Evr 6.10
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. ;Evr 13.16
But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. ;1Ioan 3.17
But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? ;1Tim 3.2
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; ;Tit 1.8
But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate; ;Evr 13.2
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. ;1Pet 4.9
Use hospitality one to another without grudging. ;SMS

14. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Mat 5.44
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; ;Luc 6.28

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. ;SMS

15. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
1Cor 12.26
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. ;SMS

16. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
Rom 15.5
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: ;1Cor 1.10
Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. ;Filip 2.2
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. ;Filip 3.16
Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. ;1Pet 3.8
Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: ;Ps 131.1-2
Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me. ;Ier 45.5
And seekest thou great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD: but thy life will I give unto thee for a prey in all places whither thou goest. ;Prov 3.7
Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. ;Prov 26.12
Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him. ;Isa 5.21
Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! ;Rom 11.25
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. ;SMS

17. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
Prov 20.22
Say not thou, I will recompense evil; but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee. ;Mat 5.39
But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. ;1Tes 5.15
See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. ;1Pet 3.9
Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing. ;Rom 14.16
Let not then your good be evil spoken of: ;2Cor 8.21
Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. ;SMS

18. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.
Marc 9.50
Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another. ;Rom 14.19
Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. ;Evr 12.14
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: ;SMS

19. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself: I am the LORD. ;Prov 24.29
Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work. ;Rom 12.17
Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. ;Deut 32.35
To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. ;Evr 10.30

20. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.
