21. I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. ;2Cor 4.16
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. ;Efes 3.16
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; ;Col 3.9-10
Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; ;

23. But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Gal 5.17
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. ;Rom 6.13-19
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. ;

24. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

25. I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. ;
