1. Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.
2Cor 11.16
I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little. ;2Cor 5.13
For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause. ;

2. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
Gal 4.17-18
They zealously affect you, but not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them. ;Osea 2.19-20
And I will betroth thee unto me for ever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies. ;1Cor 4.15

And he shall take a wife in her virginity. ;

3. But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Grace be with all them that love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen. ;Col 2.4-18

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; ;Evr 13.9
Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein. ;2Pet 3.17
Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness. ;

4. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Gal 1.7-8
Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. ;

5. For I suppose I was not a whit behind the very chiefest apostles.

But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. ;2Cor 12.11
I am become a fool in glorying; ye have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing. ;Gal 2.6

6. But though I be rude in speech, yet not in knowledge; but we have been throughly made manifest among you in all things.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. ;1Cor 2.1-13
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. ;2Cor 10.10
For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible. ;Efes 3.4

But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. ;2Cor 5.11
Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. ;2Cor 12.12
Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds. ;

7. Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that ye might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

Or I only and Barnabas, have not we power to forbear working? ;2Cor 10.1
Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you: ;

8. I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.

9. And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel. ;2Cor 12.13

Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not your's but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children. ;

10. As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
Rom 9.1
I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost, ;1Cor 9.15
But I have used none of these things: neither have I written these things, that it should be so done unto me: for it were better for me to die, than that any man should make my glorying void. ;
