1. But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.
2Cor 1.23Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. ;
2Cor 12.20-21For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as ye would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults: ;
2Cor 13.10Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. ;
2. For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?
3. And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.
2Cor 12.21And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed. ;
2Cor 7.16I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things. ;
2Cor 8.22And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you. ;
Gal 5.10I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be. ;
4. For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
2Cor 7.8-12For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you sorry, though it were but for a season. ;
5. But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.
1Cor 5.1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. ;
Gal 4.12Brethren, I beseech you, be as I am; for I am as ye are: ye have not injured me at all. ;
6. Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.
1Cor 5.4-5In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, ;
1Tim 5.20Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. ;
7. So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.
Gal 1.6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: ;
8. Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.
9. For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye be obedient in all things.
2Cor 7.15And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him. ;
2Cor 10.6And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. ;
10. To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
