Deut 6.2That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.
Deut 10.13To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
Iov 35.7-8If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
Ier 32.39And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
Deut 4.1Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
Deut 8.1All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.
Ps 41.2The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
