21. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. ;Fapt 14.22
Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. ;1Tes 3.3
That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. ;2Tim 3.12
Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. ;1Pet 3.18
For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: ;Ioan 13.15
For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you. ;Filip 2.5
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: ;1Ioan 2.6
He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. ;

22. Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
Isa 53.9
And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. ;Luc 23.41
And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss. ;Ioan 8.46
Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? ;2Cor 5.21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. ;Evr 4.15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. ;

23. Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
Isa 53.7
He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. ;Mat 27.39
And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, ;Ioan 8.48-49
Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil? ;Evr 12.3
For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. ;Luc 23.46
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. ;

24. Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Isa 53.4-11
Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. ;Mat 8.17
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. ;Evr 9.28
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. ;Rom 6.2-11
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? ;Rom 7.6
But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. ;Isa 53.5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. ;

25. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Isa 53.6
All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. ;Ezec 34.6
My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them. ;Ezec 34.23
And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd. ;Ezec 37.24
And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. ;Ioan 10.11-16
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. ;Evr 13.20
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, ;1Pet 5.4
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. ;
