1. The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
Luc 24.48And ye are witnesses of these things. ;
Fapt 1.8-22But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. ;

SMS 9. Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
Efes 6.11-13Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. ;
Iac 4.7Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ;
Fapt 14.22Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. ;
1Tes 3.3That no man should be moved by these afflictions: for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto. ;
2Tim 3.12Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. ;

SMS 10. But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
1Cor 1.9God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. ;
1Tim 6.12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. ;
2Cor 4.17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; ;
1Pet 1.6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: ;
Evr 13.21Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. ;
2Tes 2.17Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work. ;
2Tes 3.3But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil. ;
