1. Then Job answered and said,

2. I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?
Ps 143.2
And enter not into judgment with thy servant: for in thy sight shall no man living be justified. ;Rom 3.20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. ;

3. If he will contend with him, he cannot answer him one of a thousand.

4. He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself against him, and hath prospered?
Iov 36.5
Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom. ;

5. Which removeth the mountains, and they know not: which overturneth them in his anger.

6. Which shaketh the earth out of her place, and the pillars thereof tremble.
Isa 2.19-21
And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. ;Hag 2.6-21
For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; ;Evr 12.26
Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. ;Iov 26.11
The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof. ;

7. Which commandeth the sun, and it riseth not; and sealeth up the stars.

8. Which alone spreadeth out the heavens, and treadeth upon the waves of the sea.

And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. ;Ps 104.2-3
Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: ;

9. Which maketh Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades, and the chambers of the south.
Gen 1.16
And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. ;Iov 38.31
Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? ;Amos 5.8
Seek him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth: The LORD is his name: ;

10. Which doeth great things past finding out; yea, and wonders without number.

Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number: ;Ps 71.15
My mouth shall shew forth thy righteousness and thy salvation all the day; for I know not the numbers thereof. ;
