1. How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?
Deut 31.17
Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? ;Iov 13.24
Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy? ;Ps 44.24
Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and forgettest our affliction and our oppression? ;Ps 88.14
LORD, why castest thou off my soul? why hidest thou thy face from me? ;Ps 89.46
How long, LORD? wilt thou hide thyself for ever? shall thy wrath burn like fire? ;Isa 59.2
But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. ;

2. How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

3. Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;
Ezra 9.8
And now for a little space grace hath been shewed from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a nail in his holy place, that our God may lighten our eyes, and give us a little reviving in our bondage. ;Ier 51.39
In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, saith the LORD. ;

4. Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. ;Ps 38.16
For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me. ;

5. But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.
Ps 33.21
For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. ;

6. I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
Ps 116.7
Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee. ;Ps 119.17
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. ;
