1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Isa 40.11
He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. ;Ier 23.4
And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, saith the LORD. ;Ezec 34.11-23
For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out. ;Ioan 10.11

2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
Ezec 34.14
I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel. ;Apoc 7.17

3. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: ;

4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart. ;Ps 92.10
But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. ;

6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
