1. Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.
Osea 6.9And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness. ;
2. And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.
Isa 29.15Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? ;
3. I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
Amos 3.2You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. ;

Osea 4.17Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone. ;
4. They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
Osea 4.12My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God. ;
5. And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity: Judah also shall fall with them.
Osea 7.10And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this. ;
6. They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
Prov 1.28Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: ;
Isa 1.15And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood. ;

7. They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.
Isa 48.8Yea, thou heardest not; yea, thou knewest not; yea, from that time that thine ear was not opened: for I knew that thou wouldest deal very treacherously, and wast called a transgressor from the womb. ;
Ier 3.20Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have ye dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, saith the LORD. ;
Ier 5.11For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD. ;
Osea 6.7But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me. ;

8. Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Bethaven, after thee, O Benjamin.
Osea 8.1Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle against the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed against my law. ;
Ioel 2.1Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; ;
Isa 10.30Lift up thy voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto Laish, O poor Anathoth. ;
Ios 7.2And Joshua sent men from Jericho to Ai, which is beside Bethaven, on the east of Bethel, and spake unto them, saying, Go up and view the country. And the men went up and viewed Ai. ;
Osea 4.15Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, yet let not Judah offend; and come not ye unto Gilgal, neither go ye up to Bethaven, nor swear, The LORD liveth. ;
Jud 5.14Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer. ;
9. Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.
10. The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.
Deut 19.14Thou shalt not remove thy neighbor's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it. ;
Deut 27.17Cursed be he that removeth his neighbor's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen. ;
