1. And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

Luc 9.1Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. ;
2. Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
Ioan 1.42And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone. ;
3. Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
4. Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

5. These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:

6. But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Mat 15.24But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. ;
Fapt 13.46Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. ;
Isa 53.6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. ;
Ier 50.6-17My people hath been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their restingplace. ;
Ezec 34.5-16And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. ;
1Pet 2.25For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls. ;
7. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Luc 9.2And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick. ;
Mat 3.2And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. ;
Mat 4.17From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. ;
Luc 10.9And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. ;
8. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Fapt 8.18-20And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, ;
9. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
1Sam 9.7Then said Saul to his servant, But, behold, if we go, what shall we bring the man? for the bread is spent in our vessels, and there is not a present to bring to the man of God: what have we? ;
Marc 6.8And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: ;
Luc 9.3And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece. ;
Luc 10.4Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. ;
Luc 22.35And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing. ;
Marc 6.8And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: ;
10. Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
Luc 10.7And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. ;
1Cor 9.7Who goeth a warfare any time at his own charges? who planteth a vineyard, and eateth not of the fruit thereof? or who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock? ;
1Tim 5.18For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward. ;
