1. I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
Efes 3.1
For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, ;Filip 1.27
Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; ;Col 1.10
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; ;
2. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Fapt 20.19
Serving the LORD with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews: ;Gal 5.22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, ;Col 3.12-13
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; ;
3. Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Col 3.14
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness. ;
4. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Rom 12.5
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. ;1Cor 12.12-13
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. ;Efes 2.16
And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: ;1Cor 12.4-11
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. ;Efes 1.18
The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, ;
5. One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
1Cor 1.13
Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? ;1Cor 8.6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. ;1Cor 12.5
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. ;2Cor 11.4
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. ;Efes 4.13
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: ;Jud 3
Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan; ;Gal 3.27-28
For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. ;Evr 6.6
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. ;
6. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Mal 2.10
Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers? ;1Cor 8.6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. ;1Cor 12.6
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. ;Rom 11.36
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen. ;
7. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Rom 12.3-6
For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. ;1Cor 12.11
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. ;
8. Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
Ps 68.18
Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. ;Col 2.15
And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it. ;
9. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
Ioan 3.13
And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. ;Ioan 6.33-62
For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. ;
10. He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
Fapt 1.9-11
And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. ;1Tim 3.16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. ;Evr 4.14
Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. ;Evr 7.26
For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; ;Evr 8.1
Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; ;Evr 9.24
For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us: ;Fapt 2.33
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. ;
