1. And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

2. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to show thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might? ;Deut 32.4

3. Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

4. The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength.

5. They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble.

He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. ;Ps 113.9
He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORD. ;Isa 54.1

She that hath borne seven languisheth: she hath given up the ghost; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she hath been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, saith the LORD. ;SMS

6. The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.
Deut 32.39
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. ;Iov 5.18
For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole. ;Osea 6.1

7. The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
Iov 1.21
And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD. ;Ps 75.7
But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. ;SMS

8. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them.

9. He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. ;SMS

10. The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.
Ps 2.9
Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. ;1Sam 7.10
And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel. ;Ps 18.13
