1. In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
Ps 56.11In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. ;
1Sam 26.19-20Now therefore, I pray thee, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred thee up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods. ;
2. For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.
Ps 64.3-4Who whet their tongue like a sword, and bend their bows to shoot their arrows, even bitter words: ;
Ps 21.12Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them. ;
3. If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
Ps 82.5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. ;
4. The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
Hab 2.20But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him. ;
Ps 2.4He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. ;
Isa 66.1Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? ;

5. The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

7. For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Ps 146.8The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous: ;
Iov 36.7He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted. ;
