1. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
Ps 85.2
Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin. Selah. ;Rom 4.6-8
Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works, ;

2. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
2Cor 5.19
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. ;Ioan 1.47
Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! ;

3. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.

4. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. ;Isa 65.24

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ;

6. For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
1Tim 1.16
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. ;Isa 55.6
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: ;Ioan 7.34
Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come. ;

7. Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
Ps 9.9
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. ;Ps 27.5
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock. ;Ps 31.20

9. Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
Prov 26.3
A whip for the horse, a bridle for the ass, and a rod for the fool's back. ;Iac 3.3
Behold, we put bits in the horses' mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. ;Iov 35.11
Who teacheth us more than the beasts of the earth, and maketh us wiser than the fowls of heaven? ;

10. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; ;Ps 34.8
O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. ;Ps 84.12
O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee. ;Prov 16.20
He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he. ;Ier 17.7
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. ;
