1. Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
Ps 43.1Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man. ;
Ps 119.154Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word. ;
PlO LORD, thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul; thou hast redeemed my life. ;
Ex 14.25And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. ;
2. Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
Isa 42.13The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies. ;
3. Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.
4. Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
Ps 35.26Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me. ;
Ps 40.14-15Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil. ;
Ps 70.2-3Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt. ;
Ps 129.5Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. ;
5. Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
Iov 21.18They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away. ;

Ps 83.13O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. ;

6. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
Ps 73.18Surely thou didst set them in slippery places: thou castedst them down into destruction. ;
Ier 23.12Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD. ;
7. For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.
Ps 9.15The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. ;
8. Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
1Tes 5.3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. ;

9. And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

10. All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?
Ps 51.8Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. ;
Ex 15.11Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? ;
Ps 71.19Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like unto thee! ;
