1. The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Luc 3.23
And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, ;Ps 132.11
The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. ;Isa 11.1
And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: ;Ier 23.5
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. ;Mat 22.42
Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David. ;Ioan 7.42
Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was? ;Fapt 2.30
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; ;Fapt 13.23
Of this man's seed hath God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus: ;Rom 1.3
Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; ;Gen 12.3
And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. ;Gen 22.18
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. ;Gal 3.16
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. ;

2. Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
Gen 21.2-3
For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. ;Gen 25.26
And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them. ;Gen 29.35
And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the LORD: therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing. ;

3. And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
Gen 38.27
And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb. ;Rut 4.18
Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron, ;1Cron 2.5-etc
The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul. ;

4. And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;

5. And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;

6. And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
1Sam 16.1
And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. ;1Sam 17.12
Now David was the son of that Ephrathite of Bethlehemjudah, whose name was Jesse; and he had eight sons: and the man went among men for an old man in the days of Saul. ;2Sam 12.24
And David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went in unto her, and lay with her: and she bare a son, and he called his name Solomon: and the LORD loved him. ;

7. And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;

8. And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;

9. And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;

10. And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;

And Hezekiah slept with his fathers: and Manasseh his son reigned in his stead. ;1Cron 13
And David consulted with the captains of thousands and hundreds, and with every leader. ;
